Hola Hola! We are back with Season 2: Episode 2 of Conversaciones con Colegas. In this episode we bring you a charla with Ms. Katherine Huete, a passionate educator sharing her immigrant narrative and how that fuels her advocacy for herself, fellow educators and the students she serves. She wants to encourage more educators to incorporate culturally relevant practices into their pedagogy along with inclusivity and visibility for students who are often marginalized or misunderstood.

Our hope and vision for our podcast is to elevate the voices and needs of educators and students, especially those voices which are often silenced or overlooked. Ms. Huete’s work aligns with LatinXChange in that she aims to bring awareness and advocacy to all issues that our students face today, including those affecting LGBTQ+ youth.
