Educating young minds can be a daunting task if you don’t have the tools to manage the overwhelming demands from administrators, parents, and students. You cannot stay balanced and accomplish daily tasks without spending time on self-care. In order to give your best you need to take care of yourself mindfully. This course will give you simple tools to regulate your stress before it gets out of control. A calm teacher will have more energy to be successful and model to students the possibility of dealing with change and uncertainty with compassion. We will also spend time collaborating and building an SEL lesson taking what we learn and do into practice for our students.
